This list of Primitive Baptist church meeting announcements has been provided by Brother Ronnie Mallow, and we thankfully acknowledge his labor of love in collecting and distributing this information.  If you would like to receive updates through regular e-mail messages, please e-mail him to request that he add your address to his distribution list.

July 23, 24 & 25, 2010 (4th weekend in July – Friday Night through and Sunday Morning)

 

     - The Pilgrim’s Rest Primitive Baptist Church on Duncan , Oklahoma would like to invite you to their 2010 Annual Meeting, to be held during the 4th weekend in July.  Services will begin on Friday night and continue all day Saturday and concluded on Sunday morning.  The dates are July 23, 24 and 25.  Supper will be served on Friday night at 5:30pm, with lunch also provided on Saturday and Sunday.  There are several motels in town and the brothers and sisters at Duncan are also opening their homes to visitors.  They have electrical plugs and room for R.V.’s and campers.  Lord willing Elder Mark Rowell, the pastor of the Houston Primitive Baptist Church in Houston , Texas , will be with them during the meeting.  They invite everyone who can come and be with them during the meeting to do so.  Their prayer is that the Lord will be with them during their meeting and that His Name may be glorified.  For more information, please contact Elder Dennie Kreie (580-255-3239) or Sis. July 29, 30, 31 & August 1, 2010 (1st weekend in August – Thursday Night through and Sunday Morning)

 

     - The 129th session of The Primitive Association of Texas will be held, Lord willing, with the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Point Enterprise , Texas .  Services will begin Thursday night, July 29th, and continue through Sunday morning August 1st.  The Lord has graciously blessed the Churches of this association for many years, and we desire to be found standing in the same Old Paths today that have been trodden by the Flock of our Great Shepherd down through the ages.  We invite all who seek to worship our Saviour and our God in The Spirit and in Truth to join us.  Please come praying that His name will be exalted by our efforts, and His Church will be edified by His grace.

August 8, 2010 (2nd weekend in August – Sunday morning / Sunday Afternoon)

 

     - The Church at Waco has invited Bro. Kemmey Morris to be with them on the 2nd Sunday in August.  Bro. Kemmey is a member of the Farmersville Primitive Baptist Church and was liberated earlier this year.  Please pray for this dear brother.

 

NOTE: Bro. Morris regularly as 2nd Sunday afternoon appointment at Farmersville, but the Church has called off services the 2nd weekend in August as Bro. Morris will be in Waco .

     - The 2010 Rich Mountain Association will be held at the tabernacle in Hurricane Grove , Arkansas (near Mt.      - Lord willing, the Muleshoe Primitive Baptist Church , Muleshoe , TX , will again host our annual meeting August 20-22, 2010.  We will start with a sandwich supper Friday night around 5:30pm with singing and preaching to follow.  There will be Saturday morning services, with lunch to follow, and then the afternoon service. We have elected to call off Saturday night services.  The meeting will conclude on Sunday morning with lunch to follow.   We invite all ordained ministers as well as those wishing to worship our dear Lord and Savior to come and fellowship with us.  Our homes are open to those of you that need a place to stay and the church has several hook-ups available also.  There are several motels in town for your convenience:

     - The Houston Primitive Baptist Church will host a 5th Sunday meeting and communion in August.  Services begin on Friday night, with super at 5:30 and singing at 6:30.   We will meet on Saturday morning at 10 AM and in the afternoon at 2 PM (lunch and super after each service).  Also, on Sunday morning at 10 AM with singing, preaching and communion (lunch to follow).  For more information, please contact Eld.      The Cortez Primitive Baptist Church will host their annual meeting the fifth Sunday week-end in August, starting Friday night with the evening meal at 5:30 p.m.. Services Friday night through Sunday noon. Lunch and dinner will be served Saturday, and Lunch on  Sunday. there are hook-ups at the Church and motels , also will have places in our homes . Ordination of Bro. John Mark Clark to the Gospel Ministry

 

     - The Farmersville Primitive Baptist Church will host a special meeting the fifth weekend in August of 2010.  On Saturday afternoon, the Church has set aside Bro. John Mark Clark to be ordained to the full work of the gospel Ministry.  The meeting will begin on Friday night, with two services on Saturday and it will conclude on Sunday morning.  The Church building is located 2 miles south of Farmersville on County Rd 557, just Highway 78. You will see a sign for the Church about 3 miles south of town on Highway 78. Take C.R. 557 and the Church will be on the right about 1/4 mi. The address is listed below:

September 24, 25 & 26, 2010 (4th weekend in September – Friday through Sunday)

First Primitive Baptist Church of Dallas “100th Anniversary Meeting”

 

     - The First Primitive Baptist Church of Dallas will host our 100th Anniversary meeting the 4th weekend in September, which is our normal Annual Meeting time.  We are going to start services at 10:00am on both Friday and Saturday morning.  There will be afternoon and evening services on both days.  We will probably try to start our preaching services on Saturday night around 6:30pm.  Our Sunday worship services will be immediately followed by our Communion service.  We would love to see visitation from our sister Churches, as well as ministering servants that the Lord may send our way.  For more information, please contact Bro. October 22, 23 & 24, 2010 (4th weekend in October – Friday morning through Sunday morning)

 

     - Lord willing, Reveille Primitive Baptist Church will host its annual meeting the fourth weekend in October.  There will be three services on Friday, beginning at 10:30, and three services on Saturday, beginning at 10:00.  The meeting will conclude on Sunday morning.  Meals will be served throughout the meeting.  The Church is located just east of Magazine, Arkansas , off of Hwy 10 on Reveille Valley Road .  For more information, please contact Elder James Isaacs at (479) 963-3163.

     - The Snyder Primitive Baptist Church will host their annual homecoming meeting in October, 2010 beginning Friday night October 29th. We'll have services Friday Night, Saturday Morning, Afternoon, and Night and Sunday Morning.  Supper will be served Friday evening and meals will be served Saturday and Sunday. October 30 & 31, 2010 (5th Weekend in October – Saturday through Sunday Morning)

 

     - The Valley Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Valley Springs , Texas will host their annual meeting the 5th weekend in October.  There will be services on Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.  The Valley Springs Primitive Baptist Church is located in Valley Springs , Texas .  From Valley Spring take US 71 SE 3 miles to CR 407, then north on CR 407 2 miles.  For more information, please contact Elder Larry Hausenfluke and lhausenfluke@verizon.net.

 

The Valley Springs Primitive Baptist Church – was constituted in August 1882, this congregation elected one of its eleven charter members, Elder S. R. Woods, as its first pastor. The membership met monthly in the Valley Springs schoolhouse until 1886 when it moved to the Shiloh Community School building on land donated by Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Redford. Over the years, the Valley Springs Primitive Baptist Church has continued to meet here, serving a widespread rural area of Llano County .

December 18 & 19, 2010 (3rd Weekend in December – Saturday Morning, Saturday Afternoon and Sunday Morning)

Ordination of Bro. Michael Hackfeld to the Office of Deacon

 

     - - The Snyder Primitive Baptist Church has set aside Bro. Michael Hackfeld to be ordained to the Office of Deacon.  Bro. Hackfeld is a devoted servant to the Lord and His Church.  The Church is planning to host regular worship services on Saturday morning (December 18th) with the Ordination service being scheduled for that same afternoon.  There will not be night services, but they will meet on Sunday morning for regular worship services.  Elder Mark Rowell, the pastor of the Houston Primitive Baptist Church has promised to be with them during their meeting.  Please pray for their meeting and Bro.
